Technique Fat Book Swap - Corduroy Pages

Corduroy Paint Technique
I’ve been working on fat book pages for a huge technique themed swap. This is the technique I signed up to do and I can’t wait to see all the other swaps in person. I found this one in the paint department. I like it so much, I’m using it on my walls, but without the two tone look.
Basically, you paint on a color, let it dry, paint on a second color (or textured paint in the same color) and comb through it to form the stripes.

Are you by any chance planning to do 118 of those? I like what you are doing - do you use a special comb or just one you would buy for combing hair?
My technique is gel medium transfer and I haven’t begun yet, but I’ve been collecting interesting ephemera and pictures and patterns to use.

Vicki,
Why, yes, I am. I used a squeegee with notched cut out, but a comb with regular spacing would create a sort of similar effect, I think.
I can’t wait to see your page. It sounds like it will be great.
